Introducing The Next Generation of Yanmar Compact Excavators – Yanmar Stage V

The Yanmar Stage V, including the all-new Yanmar SV mini-excavator range paves the way for performance and and productivity in the plant industry, with its versatility, compactness and power.

Yanmar’s new generation of Stage-V compliant compact excavators, the SV range are tough, reliable and deliver best-in-class performance for agricultural, engineering, construction and landscaping jobs in congested working environments. The premium Stage-V compliant engine provides exceptional performance and impressive fuel efficiency.

The SV17vt and SV19vt both come equipped with Yanmar’s industry pioneering ViPPS solution. This ensures that the excavators have precision control and maximum power. Meanwhile, the SV15vt still benefits from a considerable double gear pump hydraulic system.

Each machine features a conventional tail swing, yet still enjoys a short turning radius at the front and rear, in conjunction with a wide boom swing amplitude to the left. This feature makes these excavators ideal for light demolition, trenching, landscaping and road repairs.

The operator can be comfortable in the knowledge that the SV range comes equipped with an extendable undercarriage and variable tracks, which provide stability and versatility. In addition, the flexibility to choose either a ROPS/TOPS/FOPS certified cabin or canopy means that you can choose your SV to suit your individual requirements, whilst simultaneously guaranteeing safety.

SV15vt

Thanks to its low transport weight of just 1,465kg (canopy model), the SV15vt can be transported simply, alongside working tools and buckets, on a standard light trailer. Four tie-down points on track frames keep preparation time to a minimum.

Choosing the SV15vt gives you the option of either short or long digging arms and levelling blades, this combined with its low weight and variable undercarriage sets the standard in compact versatility.

Yanmar has designed the SV15vt to be able to excel and perform in the toughest of environments and conditions. This has been achieved through their creative positioning of the boom cylinder, hydraulic hoses inside the boom, and optional bucket/arm cylinder guards, operators are guaranteed industry-leading protection.

SV17vt

The SV17vt puts safety at the forefront of everything it sets out to achieve. Both the canopy and the cabin option have achieved ROPS, TOPS and FOPS certification. In addition to an orange seatbelt and LED work lights as standard, the SV17vt provides you with the opportunity to choose buckle sensors, orange/green beacons, polycarbonate front shield (canopy version) and travel alarms.

The SV17vt is available with either short or long digging arms and levelling blades, this combined with its compact weight and variable undercarriage makes the SV17vt outstandingly versatile.

Adopting Yanmar’s TNV series engine platform, the SV17vt combines performance, efficiency and low fuel consumption. Yanmar’s Stage V-compliant, 3-cylinder, direct injection engine offers power and incredible performance.

SV19vt

The SV19vt is reliable, robust and tough. This is thanks to its expert engineering and the upper positioning of the boom cylinder, hydraulic hoses routed inside the boom and bucket/arm cylinder guards fitted as standard.

Yanmar’s SV19vt ensures optimum stability and flexibility through its operating weight of 1970kg, variable undercarriage (980 – 1320mm) and its optional 50kg counterweight. Operators also benefit from extra flexibility with the choice on offer of either short or long digging arms and levelling blades.
