Fraser Joinery & Building Choose MTS Plant

19th October, 2015

We recently visited Fraser Building & Joinery on site just outside of Edinburgh, where they currently have on hire one of our Bobcat Telehandlers. The local contracting firm located in the Scottish Borders, are currently in the process of a large hillside residential build. During our recent site visit to see the Bobcat T35130S in action, we were taken back by the stunning views across the Firth of Forth to Kirkcaldy. Views Fraser and his team will fortunate enough enjoy for the few months, and the new home owners for a long time after that.

Due to the rough terrain and steep nature of the site, the 13 meter Telehandler has proved a vital piece of equipment for Fraser Joinery & Bulling. During our visit the machine was in use carrying pallets and materials from the bottom of the steep hill up to the construction site where the new build is taking place. It was clear to see that due to the nature of the land this would have been a difficult task using a smaller or less able machine. When speaking with Fraser the MD, he explained that they plan to also utilize the Bobcat Telehanlder when installing some of the larger joists and supporting beams for the roof of the house later in the build.

The Bobcat T35130S Telehandler which was launched earlier this year at the Intermat trade show in Paris has been designed specifically to meet the needs of the plant hire industry. Bobcat has taken the decision to provide extra protection for the machines sensitive components, and also improving the intuitiveness and safety features of the machine. The Telehandler also features a larger than usual curved front window which offers better visibility when using attachments at height. All these features and more, make the T35130S a simple and operator friendly machine which is already becoming a popular hire from MTS Plant. At MTS we offer a range of telescopic handler for hire across Northern England and Scotland. Our fleet ranges from compact 1.2 ton Wacker Neuson machines all the way to Bobcats 18m T40180.
