Bauma Announcement

This week sees the world’s largest construction industry trade fair, Bauma once again arrives in Munich, Germany. The global event will take place between 8th – 14th April 2019 and will be held at The Messe München trade-fair centre.

The exhibition which will take place over 7 days and is held once every three years, will see over 3,000 exhibitors showcasing everything from building materials and machinery to construction vehicles and mining equipment.

This exhibition focuses on presenting the industry’s latest technology and innovations from around the globe and representatives from the entire construction industry will be on hand for demonstrations and talks. Major topics at this year’s Bauma exhibition will be sustainability, efficiency and digitalisation.

Here are some key facts for the Bauma trade fair:

  • 1,423 journalists and media representatives from 47 countries
  • 3,425 exhibitors from 58 countries
  • 583,736 visitors from 219 countries
  • 605,000m2 of exhibition space

Yanmar Construction Equipment Europe (Yanmar CEE) will once again be exhibiting this year and can be found on stand FN107/2, in the Open Air North Section. The leading Japanese construction plant manufacture will be exhibiting a total of 30 machines including a range of, mini- and midi excavators, wheel loaders, wheeled excavators and dumpers. Three brand new excavators, the ViO82, ViO80-2PB and ViO23-6 all released to market this year will also be showcased at Buma and are expected to draw significant interest.
