Yanmar ViO38

The Yanmar Vio38 is built for optimum performance in awkward or confined spaces. Yanmar have designed the Vio38 to offer class leading manoeuvrability and accessibility – neither the counterweight nor the front of the upper frame ever project beyond the track width thanks to the ZTS design.

Only Yanmar machines benefit from this innovative management system which uses telematics to monitor the location and status of your site equipment at all times. Plant and machinery can be managed via PC or even smartphone.

The Vio38 is fitted with a high-performance engine with a gross output of 18.9 kW, a control unit to optimise engine loading and extra fuel efficiency in eco-mode.

The Vio38 benefits from a ViPPS hydraulic system which uses three key pumps to deliver a powerful, smooth and balanced performance in all conditions and even while travelling.

The Yanmar Vio38 ensures easy entrance and provides a large, comfortable cabin with adjustable wrist rests and air suspension seat. Folding pedals maximise the available space and the standard three rear view mirrors give 360-degree visibility. All controls are located for ease of use and include a proportional control switch to maximise the precision of the boom swing and a second speed switch that further improves operational ease.

The Vio38 is designed with a very low centre of gravity and a long undercarriage, features which contribute to the remarkable stability of the machine as well as its lifting capacity. Its true zero tail swing makes the Yanmar Vio38 extremely safe around other workers and exceptionally agile in difficult conditions such as busy urban sites or when working along walls and other upright structures.
