Even in a full cabin rotation, the rear of the Yanmar ViO27 never extends beyond its undercarriage. That allows you to manoeuvre, dig or lift in close proximity to walls, obstructions and other people in safety. The operator can relax and focus on the job in hand.

Compared to other mini excavators in this weight class, the 1.5mm track width (fixed) and even distribution of weight provides the stability you need to undertake precision operations. The stability also improves its effective lifting strength. For heavier jobs, there is the option to fit an additional 90 kg counterweight.

The Yanmar ViO27 has very respectable hydraulic power and reach for a mid-sized mini excavator. It generates 14.4 kN in the arm and 23.1 kN in the bucket and has a reach of up to 4.7m, or can dig down to 2.94m or cut to a height of 4.14m. A dumping height of almost 3 metres is ideal for most loading requirements.

The Yanmar ViO27 is built around a 21.5 HP Yanmar 3TNV76 diesel engine. To conserve fuel, reduce emissions and lower noise output the engine drops to idle when unused for more than 4 seconds and reaccelerates quickly when called upon.

All Yanmar excavators have a reputation for spacious comfortable cabins, easy operation and an ergonomic layout. An auxiliary hydraulic circuit is provided in the Yanmar ViO27 to offer proportional control by modifying the direction and quantity of oil flow, and is located conveniently on the joystick.
