The 3 tonne site dumper is ideal for road construction or working around obstructions on smaller or more crowded sites. Thwaites are a leading UK developer of Site dumpers and manufacture industry leading plant highly competent in relation to in both performance and safety. The 3.0 tonne power-swivel dumper is mounted on a ball bearing turntable that can rotate through a full 180°, powered by twin slewing cylinders and operated by a single dual-axis control lever.
Thwaites have designed their latest generation to be the safest yet – even for novice operators. Operators are protected by a ROPS frame and have great all-round visibility. There is an audible warning when the key reaches the start position, and bright LED warning lights. The main brakes are SAHR (spring applied hydraulically released), fully enclosed and oil immersed and apply to all four wheels. The hydraulic controls and handbrake are directly to hand at all times.

Heavy-duty gearbox, three forward, one reverse, constant mesh change on the move with nickel chrome case hardened gears. Drive through 240 mm dia spring-damped heavy duty clutch. Transfer reduction box.
