MTS invest in Scotland Bobcat fleet

Earlier this year saw us make a substantial investment in new Bobcat Loaders for our hire fleet at our Scottish depot in Cumbernauld. The depot which opened around 18 months ago now, has seen the demand for plant hire grow at a rapid rate this year, and thus has justified the need to invest in five brand new Bobcat Loaders. Two of the new machines are shown above (the T590 and S510)  alongside some of our other fleet machines.

Our Cumbernauld plant hire depot is conveniently located in the Central Belt allowing plant delivery’s to be made to the major towns/city’s of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth and sterling in under one hour.

In particular the tracked Bobcat loaders have been a popular choice for customers in Scotland. Bobcats compact tracked loader is ideal for use where turf damage is to be kept to a minimum such as on a golf course. The tracks spread the weight of the machine which means the turf is under less stress and receives less damage. The tracks also allow the Bobcat loader to operate on rough terrain where a standard wheeled loader would likely get stuck.

There is also a large range of Bobcat attachments available to hire, including Bobcat Road Planers, Sweepers, Grapples and many more.  Many customers are surprised to find out just how versatile the Bobcat Skidsteer / Tracked Loaders can be when hired with specialist attachments.
