MTS at the Great Yorkshire Show 2016

Once again the Great Yorkshire show has proved a big success for MTS Plant, proving a great platform for customers and potential customers to get up close and personal with some of our products. The show which is held annually just outside of Harrogate, North Yorkshire attracts both farmers and the general public from across the UK. Arguably influenced by the favourable weather the attendance for this years event fell just 85 shy of the all time attendance record of 135,111 set in 2006, showing this is still a real appetite for these events from the general public.

The theme of this years MTS trade stand was specialist attachments. This is an area of our business which has shown significant growth in the last few years, with many of our hire customers and machine owners realising the full potential of the skid-steer loader when coupled with one or a number of our specialist attachments. Our stand was mainly dominated by attachments related to the forestry sector and included the powerful FAE Mulching Head, Brush-cat Rotary Cutter, the Tree Stump Grinder and the Wood Chipper. Also on display was the highly efficient and surprisingly simple to operate Laser Grader, which has provided extremely popular this year with customers preparing a range of sub-bases, and also equestrian arenas.

Alongside the attachments, we showcased a range of various sized Skid-steer and Tracked Loaders, a Mix of Micro and Mini Excavators, and two Tele-handlers.
